The Espadrille

Our take on the classic espadrille is set on a slightly elevated jute sole for a refined, effortless look. The soft upper and grounded silhouette make it a natural choice for warm-weather dressing. Each pair is handcrafted using traditional methods, giving every shoe a subtle, individual charm.

Crafted by hand in Spain, these espadrilles feature a premium suede leather upper and a reinforced heel counter for an ideal fit. A thin canvas lining is included for better structure, while a suede heel patch with an embossed MORJAS logo adds a signature touch. The traditional espadrille construction ensures authenticity and comfort.

These fit true to size—take your usual size. For care, once dry, brush the suede upper gently to lift the nap and remove dust. Suede should be treated with a dedicated protective spray before first wear and refreshed periodically. Avoid water exposure as both suede and jute are sensitive to moisture; keep the jute sole away from rain and puddles to prevent swelling. If damp, blot gently and air dry naturally. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
